St James The Great

The Prayer Team at St James consists of a group of people who undertake to include specific areas of our church life in their personal prayer pattern. We pray individually in our own homes and at a time that works for us. We also pray for individuals or events as necessary – for example, if someone is ill, or is recovering from an operation, or has a special event coming up. 

Prayer Space is a dedicated time, in Church, for prayer and reflection as a small group. We meet every 1st Saturday of the month at 10am. Anyone is welcome to join in, and we are lead by Sue in a loosely structured hour long gathering offering peace and quiet and time to pray quietly.

If you would like us to include someone you know (or yourselves) in our prayers at any time, please let Revd. Sue or Revd. Felicity know.  If your request is for someone else, please obtain their permission.

We would also be delighted to add new people to the Prayer Team. If you feel you would like to know more about it, speak to Revd. Sue.
